1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in the user’s browser to retain information about their visit. Alongside cookies there are other local storage technologies, such as localStorage, which serve an equivalent function and are subject to the same legal regime set out in Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
2. Cookies used by this website
pdpracing.com does not install any first-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, social media pixels or any other audience measurement tool.
The only first-party storage we use is a single local storage entry recording whether you accepted or declined loading the map. It contains no identifying data.
Loading the location map involves a third party, Google, which may install its own cookies. That content stays blocked until you give your express consent.

3. Technical storage exempt from consent
Under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE and the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, storage strictly necessary to provide a service the user has requested — such as recording the answer you gave to this notice — is exempt from consent.
The pdp-cookie-consent entry is created only when you click accept or decline: it is not generated automatically on entering the site, contains no identifying data and is not shared with third parties.
Your language is not stored in your browser: it is part of each page’s address (/es/ or /en/), so no storage is needed to remember it.
4. Third-party cookies: the Google Maps embed
The home page includes a Google Maps map showing the workshop location. This map does not load automatically: it stays blocked until you give your consent, so your browser never contacts Google until you accept.
Once you accept, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address and may install their own cookies subject to their policies.
This processing is the responsibility of Google Ireland Ltd. Full details are available in Google’s privacy policy and cookie policy at policies.google.com.
The site’s typefaces (Barlow and Barlow Condensed) are hosted on our own server. Loading them involves no connection to Google or to any other third party.
5. How consent is given and withdrawn
The first time you visit the site, a notice appears allowing you to accept or decline the loading of the Google Maps map. Both options are one click away and equally visible. Until you choose one, no third-party content is loaded.
Your decision is stored solely in your browser, in the pdp-cookie-consent entry described in the table above, and is not disclosed to third parties.
You can change it at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page on the site: the notice will reappear and you can decide again. Declining the map does not restrict access to any content or functionality.
6. How to manage or disable cookies
You can allow, block or delete the cookies and local storage held on your device through your browser settings. The procedure varies for each one:
- Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences › Privacy › Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
- Most browsers also offer a private browsing mode that discards this storage when the window is closed.
7. Consequences of disabling them
Since we use no first-party analytics or advertising cookies, disabling storage does not prevent you from browsing the site or accessing any of its content.
If you decline the map, it is replaced by a notice with a link to open the location directly in Google Maps, and the full workshop address remains visible on the home page and in the contact section.
If you also clear local storage, the cookie notice will reappear on your next visit. Your language is unaffected, because it depends on the address you visit rather than on anything stored in your browser.
8. Updates to this policy
This Cookie Policy may be amended where required by current legislation or when the technologies used on the website change. We recommend reviewing it periodically; the date of the last update appears in the header.
